Modern Kintsugi

Modern Kintsugi, the technique we use in our workshops, offers a quicker way to restore broken ceramics. Once repaired, the pieces become beautiful ornamental objects. As part of my commission work, I help clients bring their cherished items back together.

Some pieces had been left half-repaired in the past, while others carry childhood memories, each broken piece holds its own unique story.

It feels like I’m continuing the journey, gently picking up where it was left off and carefully putting the pieces back together.

It’s always special to work on something that holds precious memories for its owner. Each piece carries its past and its story, and now, it can continue its journey once again.
