A personal and inspiring experience designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to those looking to refine their skills. In the calm, cozy setting of ViViVi Studio in Leith, you'll be guided step-by-step through the wonderfully tactile world of clay. This private session allows you to fully immerse yourself in the process at your own pace, with focused, one-on-one support to help you create your very own beautifully crafted pottery. You'll learn essential throwing techniques, from centering the clay to shaping and refining your vessel — while experiencing the therapeutic rhythm of the spinning wheel. Beyond technique, this journey teaches patience, adaptability, and the quiet joy that comes from creating with your hands. Throughout the class, we provide all the materials you need, encouraging your individuality to shine through every creative decision. Whether you're crafting a special piece for yourself or a heartfelt gift, you'll leave with not only a finished piece but also a deeper connection to the craft. At the end of the workshop, you can choose your favorite piece (one piece per person) to be glazed and professionally fired. If you wish to keep additional pieces, they can be fired for £5 each. For added convenience, we also offer shipping for a £10 fee. When collecting your fired work, we kindly ask that you bring along newspaper or bubble wrap to help transport your pottery safely. Your pieces will be ready for collection within approximately four weeks — we’ll be in touch as soon as they’re ready.
